Let’s take our prints to another level by exploring textures and a variety of tools for making marks in linoleum. I will teach you how to create 4” X 6” images on 5” X 7” cards in this three day workshop. Working with lights and darks, textures, lines and shapes, you will discover the possibilities of this relief printmaking technique. My class will also introduce the use of a press, however, a press is not required if you want to continue exploring this medium and print at home. Students are encouraged to come prepared with a ideas for a 4” X 6” image. (This class will include a $25 materials fee directly paid to the instructor).
