In this weekend workshop, you will have an opportunity to create an 8” X 8” mosaic using the finest materials, including handmade Mexican tiles called smalti. I will guide you in transferring your design onto a wooden substrate, and you will learn to cut and shape the tiles and glue them in place. We will also learn how to grout and frame the mosaics.

Please bring designs sized to 8” X 8” and any other things you want to use for inspiration, including glass and ceramic pieces that you might want to incorporate into your mosaic.

The cost of materials is included with your fee.
