Learn a printmaking technique that was made popular over 100 years ago on Cape Cod as a way of making Japanese Woodblock printing easier. Instead of carving seperate blocks for each color and registering them, all of the colors are painted on one block. Using watercolors intead of inks, the results are prints that are very painterly. Open to all skill levels and no previous experience with printmaking or watercolor is required. A materials list will be provided upon sign-up. There is a $25 materials fee for this class.
